Length
Pure silks fall heavy. Allow an extra inch in the petticoat for the additional drape weight.

Layering
A pure silk does not need a contrast dupatta or shawl. The saree carries the layering itself.

Care
Dry-clean only. Wrap in muslin between wears. The patina on real zari is a feature; do not polish it.
