The Baluchari is the storyteller's saree. Its pallu is the first thing the eye reaches — let it. We recommend the Baluchari for occasions where you intend to be sat with: long dinners, classical concerts, the saath-pak.
01
Atpoure for traditional ceremonies; Nivi for editorial elegance. Either way, the pallu must remain visible at the back.
02
Antique-finished gold; a single sita-haar; a chudamani in the hair if formal. Jhumkas, never studs.
03
Air the Baluchari after each wear. Wrap in muslin between uses; never fold along the same line twice.
